Returns and Refund Policy
We recommend you read this Returns and Refund Policy in full prior to you making a purchase from our website. We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from one of our stores to ensure you are completely satisfied. 1. Definitions:
your purchase of goods from www.fitzfurnitures.com (“website”) is subject to this Returns and Refund Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, you must refrain from using this website or making a purchase from this website. www.fitzfurnitures.com is a website operated by Fitzfurnitures Limited (“us”, “our”, “we”, “Fitzfurnitures”). We are a limited liability company registered in Ireland under company number xxx and have our registered office at xxx. Our VAT number is xxx. The goods and services described in this website are available from Fitzfurnitures only. You and Fitzfurnitures may enter into a sale contract for the sale and supply of goods and/or services described in this website, by you making an offer to Fitzfurnitures via the website, to purchase the goods and services at the specified price, subject to the Refund Policy terms. In these terms: (a) “you”, “user”, “member”, and “guest” means anyone who visits and/or uses this website. (b) reference to a “third party” in these Terms includes a reference to any agent or contractor of Fitzfurnitures, or of any of its related entities, and any person engaged by any of them, in the creation, provision or maintenance of the website or in the fulfilment of orders made through the website, and includes any of them. (c) a reference to the “website” means www.fitzfurnitures.com (d) “Order” means an offer made by you in response to an invitation to treat made by Fitzfurnitures via the website. By accessing and/or using the website, you accept these terms and agree to be bound by them, and an agreement is formed between us and you.
2. Gifts:
Unwanted gifts purchased in-store or online from Fitzfurnitures can be exchanged or returned for a Fitzfurnitures Gift Card within 14 days from the date of purchase.
3. Cooling Off Period:
If you have changed your mind or if you’re unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. Unless faulty, this must be within 72 hours of receipt of the goods and they are returned to us within 14 day, preferably to the original store of purchase. Please be aware that all item(s) being returned must be in perfect condition and a restocking fee will apply. The restocking fee is calculated at 30% of the value of the item. An uplift or collection charge will also apply. We are unable to refund or exchange faulty or imperfect goods where the imperfection was identified to you prior to purchase (for example, where you have knowingly purchased an imperfect display model). Returns are not permitted on custom orders where an item has been ordered to your exact specifications or on any non-standard combination order. Due to hygiene reasons, all furniture products are for FINAL SALE ONLY and CANNOT be returned. Any item which has undergone assembly cannot be returned. All returns must be accompanied by proof of payment. All returns must be in their original packaging and in perfect condition. In the event of a refund, this must be collected in store via the original payment method. Refunds will be processed once the goods have been returned to us. If the unwanted item is returned as sold and is accompanied by the original receipt within a 14 day period, we can refund you in full by the original payment method, or offer you an exchange, or offer you a Fitzfurnitures gift card to the same value. If the original purchase was made with a credit/debit card, that card must be physically present and available when the refund is made. Refunds will be refused for items returned without an original receipt. We reserve the right to refuse a return under this policy, if the goods are not in a re-saleable, as sold condition. As sold condition means that the goods are unopened, in their original packaging with all documentation, and the item and its packaging are undamaged and unused. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on clearance/ex-display/sold-as-seen items. If any promotional items included in the original sale are not returned, the corresponding value or discount of the promotional items will be deducted from the refund amount.
4. Exclusions:
We are unable to offer a refund or an exchange under this policy on the following goods once they have been removed from their packaging in the interest of health and hygiene: mattresses, pillows, bedlinen, mattress toppers, duvets, electric devices, and personal items. Customised furniture and Gift Cards. All products are covered for faults by our guarantee. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, physical damage, neglect, misuse, wear and tear or failure to follow the instructions. We cannot refund your purchase if the goods were ordered to your specification, or if the goods are not a stock item. Finally, please note that you will be responsible for all transport costs when returning an item to a store or warehouse.
5. Online Returns Policy:
We are happy to assist you with the return of items purchased online that are unsuitable once we are notified within 14 days from the day after delivery of the item(s). We must be informed of your decision to cancel and return your order within 14 days from the day after delivery of the item(s). You have a further 14 days from the date you cancelled to return any item(s) to us. While the item(s) are in your possession you must take reasonable and appropriate care of them. They must be in “as new” condition and returned in their original and undamaged packaging. Refunds will be processed back to the same payment method that was used for the original order and will be issued once the goods have been returned to us. Please be aware that we will refund your delivery cost only if the return is as a result of our error (e.g. faulty product) and that if you wish to return an order due to a change of mind you will be responsible for all delivery costs when returning goods to a store or a warehouse. In addition, a fee may apply, where the item(s) returned have diminished in value through handling the item beyond what is necessary to inspect the features and characteristics of the item(s).
6. Online Returns Policy Exclusions:

Customised furniture and Gift Cards. All products are covered for faults by our guarantee. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, physical damage, neglect, misuse, wear and tear or failure to follow the instructions.
7. Defective Products:
To report a problem with a product that you have purchased please contact customercare@fitzfurnitures.com who will guide you through our returns and/or refunds procedure. This may include inspection of the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement or refund. All goods must be inspected on receipt of delivery and any damage such as scratches, tears, soiling, and inaccuracies etc should be reported immediately to Fitzfurnitures’ store of purchase. Fitzfurnitures is unable to accept reports of damage upon delivery after three days, so it is critical that you unpack and inspect your goods within this time. In most cases, faults are of minor nature and can be resolved in the home by a professional furniture technician. If the issue is not corrected to original specification or similar, we will replace or exchange the item. In the event you receive an item you feel is faulty, please provide us with photographs clearly showing the fault along with a written description so that we can assist you.
8. Refunds:
Refunds will be made via the method of payment you used to make your online purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within seven (7) days of receipt of the returned goods and cancellation of the order.
